On Friday March 22nd, 2019, four designers–Mark Epstein of NYC, Raleigh designer’s Antoine Ponton, Robert MacNeill and Erin Weston of Weston Farms came together to create an exquisite backdrop for the farewell retirement party for the first artistic director and CEO of the Carolina Ballet. For this special celebratory occasion, the designers imagined a southern forest including magnolia trees & spring blooms. The foyer of Memorial Auditorium was transformed with Weston Farms Magnolia tree tops, rare Chinese Redbuds and gold magnolia leaves. A champagne toast capped off a magical evening celebrating the treasured NC artist.
